Aptamil, the number one formula brand in Europe, has launched its Aptamil Care formula in the United States. This formula is specifically designed for babies born via C-section and features a unique biotic blend that helps support their immune systems.
Aptamil Care is a milk-based formula with intact proteins that are non-hydrolyzed. This makes it suitable for most babies from birth through 12 months of age. The formula also contains HMO 3'GL and dual prebiotics GOS/FOS, which have been shown to support the development of a healthy gut microbiome.
In a clinical study, babies fed Aptamil Care had a 30% reduction in the risk of developing colic compared to babies fed a standard formula. The study also found that babies fed Aptamil Care had a 20% reduction in the risk of developing respiratory infections.
